Prepare the invoice
Open Payments.
Select the unsent invoice.
Confirm the customer under Recipient.
Review the invoice date, due date, reference, attachments, customer options, and order lines.
Choose how to deliver it
For email delivery, verify the invoice email address before sending.
EHF is available only for a business customer with an organisation number whose EHF check confirms that it can receive EHF. If the check fails, choose another available delivery type instead.
Check the amount, VAT, attachments, and customer-portal options for every delivery type.
Send and confirm delivery
Select Send invoice only after completing the checks.
Return to Payments and check the status and invoice-sent date. A transfer to the accounting system does not by itself confirm customer delivery.
If the customer reports a missing invoice, verify the delivery method and recipient details before using an available send action. Do not create a second invoice for the same charge.
Sending can also transfer the invoice to the configured accounting system. Verify all locked fields before the final action.
If Send invoice is unavailable
Check that:
a customer and delivery type are selected
the linked order is confirmed
the invoice contains at least one order line and the total is greater than zero
the due date meets the minimum for the selected delivery and customer-portal settings
an email address is present and valid when the selected flow requires email
The message on the disabled button identifies the first blocking field. Correct it, save, and check the button again.
