Create a recurring order

Create a repeating order and configure recurring job plans.

Use a repeating order when the same customer agreement should generate work on a schedule.

Create the repeating order

  1. Open Orders.

  2. Select Add New Order.

  3. Select Repeating.

  4. Select Create without template.

  5. Add the customer and give the order a recognizable title.

Add and configure a job plan

  1. Open Other actions and select Create job plan when the repeating order does not already contain one.

  2. Enter the job title and description.

  3. Set the start time and estimated duration.

  4. Configure how often the job repeats, the applicable weekdays or day of month, start and end dates, and how many future jobs should be kept in advance.

  5. Assign employees and resources and add the required order lines.

  6. Save the schedule and review the generated dates.

  7. Activate the job plan only after the schedule is correct.

A new plan begins inactive. Pausing a plan prevents future automatic creation without deleting work that already exists.

You can add another job plan to an existing repeating order. Reuse the existing customer and order when the agreement is the same; create a separate order only when the commercial agreement, customer, or billing setup is different.
